The St Louis Marine Corps Reserve Scholarship Fund is a non-profit, tax-exempt fund strongly supported locally by volunteers. The fund provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships to deserving members of the United States Marine Reserve in their pursuit of higher education
In addition, there may be several named scholarship awards from individuals and companies. The St Louis Marine Corps Reserve Scholarship Fund administers these scholarship programs through the Marine Corps League South City Detachment #183.
Individual and Corporate Donors please send your checks to the Marine Corps League South City Detachment #183 6646 Gravois Ave. Saint Louis, MO. 63116 Make Checks payable to "Marine Corps League Det #183" and state Reserve scholarship fund in the 'for' column. All donations are Tax Deductible. Please include return address so that we may send a reciept.
For individuals we are asking for donations of $25 and higher.
For Corporations we ask for donations of $250 to $1000. All corporate donors will receive honorable mention through local press releases.
For a Gift of $10,000 or more, we will name a continuing scholarship award of $500 per year in you or your corporate name for perpetuity. It will be mentioned in all press releases. Please mention your interest and we will contact you for discussions on any details you may seek. "
